Workshop series: From Paycheck-to-Paycheck to a Plan
Three 90-minute sessions. Each stands alone or runs as a series.
1 · Where the money goes
Participants build a one-page picture of their real income and spending, learn the difference between fixed, flexible, and surprise costs, and leave with a first spending plan for the next 30 days.
Outcome measure: every participant has a written spending plan; baseline financial well-being score recorded.
2 · Getting out from under
Credit reports pulled and read together, the debt list built, and a payoff order chosen on purpose. Collector rights and how to answer a collection letter.
Outcome measure: participants can name their total debt, their next payoff target, and the date it clears.
3 · Building the cushion
Emergency fund sizing, automating savings, separating bills from spending money, and the three habits that keep a plan alive.
Outcome measure: an emergency-fund account opened with an automatic transfer set.
